Strongsville woman, a University of Cincinnati student-athlete, drowns at lake in southwest Ohio

CINCINNATI, Ohio — A Strongsville woman who was a soccer player at the University of Cincinnati drowned Saturday at a lake in southwest Ohio, authorities say.

The UC athletics department released a statement confirming the death of Allison Sidloski, 21, a 2018 graduate of Strongsville High School.

“Promising Young Woman,” the dark comedy starring Carey Mulligan, will be offered for free to college students.

Focus Features, the film’s backer, has partnered with RAINN, the country’s largest anti-sexual violence organization, to host virtual screenings of the film on April 15. HANA, Hawaii (KHON2) – Two visitors died in flash flood conditions in Hana, Maui within a two week period.
